The Pandemic Effect: Dating

Hello,Dia mi!

I trust that you have been doing fabulously well. It has been such a long time we've talked and I must apologize to you. I'm hopeful that I've been forgiven❤.

I came up with a very interesting and controversial topic. It's the lockdown season and many of us have been feeling really lonely. It is inevitable for us to spend hours on social media talking to people. You know, even having longer conversations with some special people. Hold on!

In case you haven't guessed,I'm talking about the pandemic effect. There have been cases of abrupt relationships, all caused by loneliness. Many people have started dating just to remove the loneliness wrapping itself around them. However, there's one big question.

Are these people ready for the lovey dovey affair? Do they really want to commit? Will they maintain the bond even after normalcy is restored? So I came up with a few things to consider before you fall too deep.

A refuge from loneliness:
Ask yourself if you really want to be with the person or you just want entertainment.Did you agree to date him/her because you feel connected? Are you dating the person because he/she is the source of your happiness? Before you answer, remember that true happiness has to come from within.

Ready or not:
You absolutely must be ready to take on the challenges of dating. Successful dating requires multiple ingredients only readiness can give. Before giving in to the pandemic effect, make sure its not just the sound of it you like.

The lover by the side:
This is a very tricky aspect that many people forget to notice. Are you currently in another relationship? Are you still hung up over a former lover?. No should be your answer before you jump into yet another love affair. Too much heartbreaks are not good for the soul.

If you feel that you're confident enough after reflecting on all of this,I'm wishing you the best of luck. One of the most beautiful things is a happy relationship.

What are your thoughts about the pandemic effect? Feel free to say it in the comment section.

With love,
Peperempe.

Are You A Failure?

Hello, Dia mi😊! It has been a long week over here and I'm genuinely excited to be having this conversation with you today. Did your week go well? Dia mi, when last did you fail? Do you think you're a failure? Before you answer these questions, I want you to take a deep breath and think about all those past mistakes carefully. I'm not even kidding. How can you appreciate success if you never fail? How can you be relevant if you never fail? If you think this is some motivational speech, you're wrong.  I have thought about it over and over again. Why did I fail at this project? Why did I have bad grades in this course? Why did I give up halfway on that dream? Does this mean I'm a failure? If this sounds like you, those failures didn't happen by chance. It was a result of the actions you took or failed to take as you were aiming for that goal. It could have been any of these: 1. Your Self-discipline: Let's be honest, self discipline is a problem most of us face...

I'm going to talk about important factors that make or mar relationships, whether romantic or not.All our life,we've always heard how one day,we'll fall in love and have a happy ever after with that special person. You've been lied to terribly. It never works this way. I guess this was passed around to shield us from the shocking reality. The shocking reality is that love is never ever enough!. Sounds unbelievable, right? I understand you, trust me. Have you ever wondered what holds the strong relationships we see around?. Dia mi,a lot of things come in other than love. Here's why some relationships last longer than others do. Commitment: This can never be underrated,or is it overrated? What I'm saying is you have to make up your mind to give time to your relationships. You have to con...
