Unrequited: The Series (4)

Hello,Dia mi!

It has been a long three days since I last talked to you. How time flies! I'm sure I must have missed a whole lot. Fortunately,I'm back for good❤.

Before I continue my juicy story,I want to make sure you have washed your hands. Awesome!!! Hold on,I think you should sanitize it too(I'm very extra). I bet you're now ready for another trip in my world.

In our last conversation,I mentioned an important event that happened in my life. Just in case you forgot, "Prince Charming" and I are members of AIESEC. This is why this event was very significant in my life at least.

I had decided to apply for the role of a vice president in AIESEC,all thanks to "Prince Charming". Applying for it was originally scary, when I thought about it. However, "Prince Charming" was a rock for me in that period. I will admit that his support led to a bigger reduction in my common sense.

When I finally applied for the role,he kept supporting me and made me feel I could do it. In my mind, I was already planning a happy ever after with him (Shakes head). Anyway,I made it through the interview and patiently awaited the election day.

For me,centuries had already passed before the election day. I was anxious as hell and was constantly thinking of giving up. My "Prince Charming" was there through it all. Finally, the election day came.

Here's why this event is so significant. After going back and forth with reading my manifesto and stating my intentions, the election started. I was heartbroken when the results were announced. I would have broken down if not for my dear "Prince Charming".

I guess you didn't realize that I just lied to you๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. Dia Mi, I won the election hands down. I was elated. The night should have ended with me going to my hostel and sleeping off with a smile on my face.

I was in for a surprise. Apparently,AIESEC hadn't congratulated me properly. They gave me a good dosage of water. You should have seen me that day๐Ÿ˜‚. By the time they were done, I was shivering.

Please don't blame me for what I'm about to tell you now. " Prince Charming" offered to bring me a jacket. Absolute knight in shining armor, right?. If I still had my common sense,I would have declined and left. I guess I have watched too many Korean movies,so I accepted his offer.

Giving me his jacket wasn't enough,he offered to walk me back to my hostel. I really should have declined this one. Accepting this second offer also led to the death of our friendship (You should have guessed we're total strangers now).

When we got to my hostel,he didn't say goodbye instantly. Rather,we sat down for a while. It was this moment I realized that I had a huge crush. However,it was a night of surprises. What "Prince Charming" did next surprised me.

Should I tell you tonight? I really think I should just say it now. Oops, I think you would have to come back next time. My deepest apologies,Dia mi.

Remember to stay safe and help flatten the curve. I love you dearly.

With love,
Peperempe

So, I decided to give you some realistic tips on how to overcome failure. They're simple, straightforward and help you to see the way forward. I'm diving in right away. 1.Face Failure: You failed again, and so what? Who says you can't try again? You definitely can; you only need to be upfront about why you failed. Search deep...

Are You A Failure?

Hello, Dia mi๐Ÿ˜Š! It has been a long week over here and I'm genuinely excited to be having this conversation with you today. Did your week go well? Dia mi, when last did you fail? Do you think you're a failure? Before you answer these questions, I want you to take a deep breath and think about all those past mistakes carefully. I'm not even kidding. How can you appreciate success if you never fail? How can you be relevant if you never fail? If you think this is some motivational speech, you're wrong.  I have thought about it over and over again. Why did I fail at this project? Why did I have bad grades in this course? Why did I give up halfway on that dream? Does this mean I'm a failure? If this sounds like you, those failures didn't happen by chance. It was a result of the actions you took or failed to take as you were aiming for that goal. It could have been any of these: 1. Your Self-discipline: Let's be honest, self discipline is a problem most of us face...

The Perfect Trick You Need

Hello, Dia mi! It has been such an awfully long time since our last conversation. August was a crazy month for me but I'm really sorry I left for a while. Will you accept my apologies๐Ÿค—? As always, I didn't come empty-handed. I came with some goodness I'm sure you will love. You won't believe how excited I am to tell you what I just discovered. I feel that you'll also be excited to try this out once I reveal it. Credit: Tetiana Shyshkina I recently discovered a productivity trick that allows you to take spurts of energy while working and still achieve maximum results. It gives the chance to text a friend, take a shower and relax without disrupting your productivity. Can a trick be this amazing? Well, the Pomodoro technique has all the sauce, as we say๐Ÿคญ. The Pomodoro technique is a productivity and time management trick developed by Francesco Crillion in the late 1980s. He created this technique in his university days when he used to study in his kitchen with a toma...
