Unrequited: The Series (5)

Hello,Dia Mi!

I trust that you have been doing excellently while I was away. Going away was inevitable for me because I had to regain my mental strength. I'm very happy to be back again.

Tomorrow's Monday and I know we're all in the mood of work. However, you should relax with something special. That's why I'm back with my juicy gist tonight (Did I just hear somebody cheer?). What I'm about to tell you will make your hearts tingle. Let's drive off then.

Hold up a second! You have to get in the mood first, Dia mi.(Get ready for a bumpy ride😂). So I was telling you how "Prince Charming" and I decided to have our little celebration in front of my hostel. We found a cool shade to sit under( I'M GETTING EMOTIONAL!).

He told me about how happy he was for me that I won the election. It delighted me that my crush was very supportive of me. I was doing cart wheels deep down inside. After he said this,we stayed quiet for some minutes. Suddenly,he broke the silence.

"You can put your head on my shoulder if you want" ,he said. Alright, that wasn't the first time before you freak out😂. I tried to reject the offer but he insisted. What do you think I did?. I laid my head on his shoulder, of course!. It was an opportunity that I always waited for. Trust me,I know better now.

We stayed like that for a while until he finally decided to leave. You can bet that I went to bed with a goofy smile. The normal cycle continued as we kept on talking everyday. I was in cloud nine that week. I finally thought that maybe he liked me too .(Big joke😂)

One day,I was reading in the library, which is my second home by the way. I impulsively decided to take a break and go online for some minutes. Luckily, my "Prince Charming" was online. I quickly texted him up and he replied immediately. Not long after, the conversation turned to God. "Prince Charming" started telling me of how God loved me and how I needed to see the light.

He asked me to meet him at a location near his hostel. According to him,he wanted to talk about "Jesus". I decided to go because of my selfish interest, which was to see him. I wanted to breathe the air he was breathing😂. So you know the rest of the story.

It turned out that our meeting wouldn't be about "Jesus". I'm sure you're wondering what we did in our meeting. I don't think I'll tell you today. I'll give you the whole gist in our next conversation.

Until then, stay safe and healthy. Always wash your hands or sanitise them. Don't forget to spend more time with your loved ones. I can't wait to see you again❤.

With love,
Peperempe.

Are You A Failure?

Hello, Dia mi😊! It has been a long week over here and I'm genuinely excited to be having this conversation with you today. Did your week go well? Dia mi, when last did you fail? Do you think you're a failure? Before you answer these questions, I want you to take a deep breath and think about all those past mistakes carefully. I'm not even kidding. How can you appreciate success if you never fail? How can you be relevant if you never fail? If you think this is some motivational speech, you're wrong.  I have thought about it over and over again. Why did I fail at this project? Why did I have bad grades in this course? Why did I give up halfway on that dream? Does this mean I'm a failure? If this sounds like you, those failures didn't happen by chance. It was a result of the actions you took or failed to take as you were aiming for that goal. It could have been any of these: 1. Your Self-discipline: Let's be honest, self discipline is a problem most of us face...
