The Woman Who Gave It All

Hello,Dia mi!

I trust that you have been staying exceptional. It is mandatory that we take some time away from all the negativity around us. Luckily,I came with the perfect solution.

You guessed right! It's one of my controversial rants. It's something that touched the core of my heart. I also noticed that it was and still is very common. Like the woman, some of us give it all with nothing in return. It's one of the most painful and toxic things on our planet.

I got this story off a heart wrenching movie. In this story, the woman slowly gives up her career and long life dream just to be the best wife. She gives up her important slot at a television station to make videos at home. For a while, her husband allows her to upload videos to YouTube and make money.

Suddenly,he complains about this again and tells her to only upload once in a month. She does this at her detriment to make him happy. Slowly, the cycle continues to the point that he prevents her from going anywhere or doing anything at all. He stops her family from coming to see her. He chases all her fans away. As a good wife, she accepts her fate and moves on.

By now,she is terribly overweight and a shadow of herself. He starts cheating. He starts beating her. He humiliates her in front of his friends. The woman is a good wife,so she gives it all. Until she had nothing to offer anymore.

She discovers that he is cheating on her with her sister's friend. She is broken but keeps all the emotions in,as a good wife. She keeps it all in until he humiliates her in front of her loved ones and calls her a useless wife. She commits suicide. She is not his first victim nor his last victim.

Should we really give it all to the people around us for their happiness? Should we stop our self development to make them feel secure? If you were the woman, what would you have done?

These were the thoughts I wanted to share with you. Let me know what you feel, right in the comments section. I will be waiting for another lucky day of controversial rants.

With love,
Peperempe.

  1. I think I have seen that movie. One's happiness should be one's priority.I don't think it's right to satisfy people at the expense of our career and happiness😌

  3. Our happiness should be on the lead and most important ,even as a wife that didn't guarantee us to give it all to our husband.........because to err is human.......

Are You A Failure?

Hello, Dia mi😊! It has been a long week over here and I'm genuinely excited to be having this conversation with you today. Did your week go well? Dia mi, when last did you fail? Do you think you're a failure? Before you answer these questions, I want you to take a deep breath and think about all those past mistakes carefully. I'm not even kidding. How can you appreciate success if you never fail? How can you be relevant if you never fail? If you think this is some motivational speech, you're wrong.  I have thought about it over and over again. Why did I fail at this project? Why did I have bad grades in this course? Why did I give up halfway on that dream? Does this mean I'm a failure? If this sounds like you, those failures didn't happen by chance. It was a result of the actions you took or failed to take as you were aiming for that goal. It could have been any of these: 1. Your Self-discipline: Let's be honest, self discipline is a problem most of us face...
