Unrequited: The Series (9)

Hello, Dia mi!

You must agree with me that it is a lovely night. Its 1am and I can't sleep. I figured out the best way to spend time and that's with you. Ta-da.

Let's do a little something before we continue our conversation. Think about how you would have wanted my little tale to turn out. A happily ever after kind of thing? Amazing! Now,just stay in that frame of mind. You'll need it for our upcoming conversations (He he he).

I told you how my "Prince Charming" and I sat together in the event and how it was my dream come true. After the event,we walked to my hostel with smiles on our faces. I was truly convinced that he was the "Prince Charming". A few events would prove this wrong.

Anyway,we continued our merry go round for a week or two. We would talk hours over the phone, meet up for a stroll once or twice. I was in crushing heaven,if that's a phrase.

One morning, two of my friends and I were walking to class when I spotted "Prince Charming". He greeted me and one of my friends with a wide smile, seemingly happy to see us. We never could have guessed the reason for such a smile. After exchanging pleasantries,we waved goodbye and went our separate ways.

On getting to class,we discovered that the class had been canceled. However,I could not return to the hostel because I had a few things to sort out in school. Out of boredom,I opened my WhatsApp and guess who I saw online. You guessed right. It was "Prince Charming"

Unknown to me,I was in for a different conversation that day. What he would type would shock me and make me rethink my decisions. However,I'm not revealing what this huge red flag was. Toasts to another late night conversation?

Till then, you're always in my heart 🤭.

With love,
Peperempe.

Credit: Tetiana Shyshkina I recently discovered a productivity trick that allows you to take spurts of energy while working and still achieve maximum results. It gives the chance to text a friend, take a shower and relax without disrupting your productivity. Can a trick be this amazing? Well, the Pomodoro technique has all the sauce, as we say🤭. The Pomodoro technique is a productivity and time management trick developed by Francesco Crillion in the late 1980s. He created this technique in his university days when he used to study in his kitchen with a toma...
