Are You Using That Lesson?

Hello, Dia mi!

I trust that you have been staying healthy. I hope that you are also growing daily.

This is the period where we all want to learn something new. You don't want to sit down on the couch watching television all day. You're pumped up to attend this conference and that webinar. It's that time of the lockdown.

These webinars teach a lot of lessons like emotional intelligence, digital skills and personal effectiveness. To be honest, these are very great lessons. The downside is they're only great if you want them to be. Surprising, right?

The honest truth is we're so excited by the great ideas that we forget to Implement it into our lives. We learn so much in these webinars that we actually overlook putting it into context. The sad thing is that these lessons melt away after some weeks.

What if you actually reflected on how that wonderful topic could apply to your life after a webinar? What if you wrote down the steps you want to take to achieve it? What if you started those small positive habits to replace the negative ones? What if that webinar actually served its purpose?

I'll leave you with these questions and a reminder to be selective with webinars. How have webinars improved you? Let us know in the comments section. I look forward to our next conversation.

With love,
Peperempe.

Are You A Failure?

Hello, Dia mi😊! It has been a long week over here and I'm genuinely excited to be having this conversation with you today. Did your week go well? Dia mi, when last did you fail? Do you think you're a failure? Before you answer these questions, I want you to take a deep breath and think about all those past mistakes carefully. I'm not even kidding. How can you appreciate success if you never fail? How can you be relevant if you never fail? If you think this is some motivational speech, you're wrong.  I have thought about it over and over again. Why did I fail at this project? Why did I have bad grades in this course? Why did I give up halfway on that dream? Does this mean I'm a failure? If this sounds like you, those failures didn't happen by chance. It was a result of the actions you took or failed to take as you were aiming for that goal. It could have been any of these: 1. Your Self-discipline: Let's be honest, self discipline is a problem most of us face...
