How are you doing today? I trust that you have been staying healthy and safe. It is important to be intentional about your well being.
I have an interesting fact for you. Did you know that you have to be intentional about even the littlest things? First off,let's examine what intent is. According to the online English dictionary,intent is fixed concentration or an unwavering focus on a course of action.
In simpler words,it means giving time to a particular goal or action you want to do. It means carefully planning and taking steps towards whatever you want to do. Its as simple as writing a shopping list when going to the supermarket. You have the intention to go to the supermarket. However,you won't get there by just saying it. Writing a list is to start working towards the goal of going shopping.
Being intentional is as simple as this analogy😁. You might ask why you should be intentional. Why should you be intentional? It shows that you're ready to accomplish your goal. It shows that even though you don't have it all figured out,you're ready to give it a shot. No matter what it takes,you're going to be intentional about that savings goal,that new meal you want to learn,that relationship you want to restore.
Let's do a little exercise. Write that goal you want to achieve. Note down the strategic steps you have to take to achieve that goal. Make up your mind to take the first step. When you take the first step,you're more likely to see it through. Intention makes you more focused. It's that simple.
Be intentional about that new skill you want to learn,that short story you want to write,that course you want to take,that internship you want to apply to. Saying you want to do it isnt enough,you have to be INTENTIONAL (Okay,I'll shut up now😂)
