Hello,Dia mi!
How are you doing? I trust that you have been staying mentally positive in this pandemic. We all know its a stressful period,especially for youths.
The world changed as we knew it. We could not go out again,hug or visit our loved ones. To make matters worse,some people have even lost their jobs. For most of us,we are unable to get enough free time because of an everlasting list of chores.
So I decided to come up with five ways on how to maintain your sanity. Let's go!
DON'T PUT TOO MUCH PRESSURE ON YOURSELF!!! :
I understand that there has been some sort of productivity contest on social media. You have been feeling the pressure to achieve many things and it's been overwhelming.
Now,calm down!. I'm here to tell you that its okay to relax at times. Do it at your own pace. If you only manage to read two books, you have been staying productive.What matters most is maintaining your mental health,Dia mi❤.
REJUVENATE YOURSELF:
What do I mean?. Treat yourself like a baby boy or girl! Experiment with different types of meals. Sleep for 8 hours😂. "Don't dull yourself" as a popular slang says. Don't deprive yourself of the things that matter over temporary things. In all,find positivity in this lockdown period.
LOVE UP :
What better way to spend time than with your loved ones? Use this opportunity to know your family members better. Reach out to them virtually,if they're far away from you. Develop your relationships with friends. Take time out to appreciate the people you love. Also remember to continue doing this after the lockdown goes away.
RUN INTO GOD'S LOVING ARMS :
There's no doubt that our world needs God! This is the time to cast all your worries on him because He's got you. He knows this is a trying time,so His arms are always open. You think your plans have been destroyed? Think again. He has greater ones in store. Never forget that He loves you.
BE YOUR BEST FRIEND :
This is the perfect time to concentrate on yourself. Allow only positive vibes and explore your interests. Reflect on the current state of things. Reach out to people when you're overwhelmed. Accept you and love your flaws. This is the best recipe for self love,Dia mi!.
I hope that you come out of this situation with extraordinary mental strength.This too shall pass❤. Once again,stay positive and healthy.
